People who have traveled to St. John fall in love with the lush green hills, white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. The smallest of the US Virgin Islands, over two thirds is protected National Park which has kept this little island untouched and virtually unchanged for decades. Only accessible by boat, crowds are limited on St. John. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate hiking, bird watching, snorkeling and relaxing on the beautiful beaches.
From casual dining on the beach with your toes in the sand to fine dining overlooking a spectacular sunset, St. John has it all. Reservations recommended during high season.

Snorkeling, diving, deep sea fishing, hiking, archaeological ruins, rum tasting or lying on the beach without a care in the world, St. John has something for everyone. Want to get on a boat and explore the British Virgin Islands for the day? Be sure to check out the Soggy Dollar Beach Bar, home of the original painkiller and head to Foxy’s to meet Sir Foxy himself. The Baths of Virgin Gorda and snorkeling at the Indians are all easily accessible from St. John.
There is wonderful shopping in St. John. From art to jewelery to clothing and souveneirs, you’ll enjoy strolling through the shops at Wharfside Village and Mongoose Junction. All are an easy walk from Blue View Villa.
There are no airports on St. John. The closest airport is St. Thomas (STT) and then you will take a ferry to Cruz Bay.
Taxis are waiting outside the airport to transfer you to the ferry terminal. You can choose between a shorter taxi ride and longer ferry ride (Charlotte Amalie to Cruz Bay) or longer taxi ride and shorter ferry ride (Red Hook to Cruz Bay.)
